The NEW G44 3x4 to 4x5 Graflok conversion backs are now primarily made from Baltic birch plywood that has been precision laser cut to exact dimensions. The upper and lower Graflok assemblies are now replaceable and the slide lock are laser cut from G10 FR4 Fiberglass plate
While this back won't let you take a full 4x5 images with your 3x4 camera, it will allow you the convenience of using standard 4x5 2 sheet film holders, Polaroid 405 pack film holders, 4x5 120 roll film backs and 1268 Grafmatic cassettes capturing the full image seen on the camera's ground glass
This back is designed to completely replace your camera's rotating back assembly creating a fixed back camera that produces a 4" x 4.3" image on 4x5 sheet film.(Grafleblad)
This back is unique in that the film index point in the 20th Century Camera conversion back is adjustable. this allow you to shoot roll fill and have it be centered on the film plane or full frame instant pack film.
No modification to the camera is required. Simply unscrew the camera's original graflex film back from your camera and replace it the 20th Century Camera Graflok conversion back.
